Why I'm Co-Hosting RESET France — And Why I Think You Should Be in the Room
I don't say yes to many things. My calendar is intentional. My commitments are few and they're deep. So when Aaron Hageman asked me to co-facilitate RESET France — a 5-day strategic retreat at Château de Crécy-la-Chapelle, 30 minutes from Paris — I didn't say yes immediately.
I sat with it. I thought about who would be in the room. I thought about what the work would look like. And then I said yes — because this is exactly the kind of container I've been wanting to build for years, and Aaron is exactly the kind of partner who makes that possible.
Here's what I want to tell you about it — not as a promotion, but as a genuine invitation from someone who is personally showing up to do the work.
What RESET Actually Is
RESET France is not a conference. It's not a mastermind. It's not a vibe trip where you take photos in a French garden and come home with a notebook full of ideas you never execute.
It's a working session. A small group — 10 to 15 founders, operators, and leaders — spending five days at Château de Crécy-la-Chapelle doing the kind of strategic and personal work that almost never gets done inside the normal rhythm of running a business.
The château sits in the French region of Brie, 30 minutes from Paris. It's a 19th-century estate with 53 private rooms, nine conference rooms in the converted stables, a wellness area in the former orangery, and a wooded park with a river running through the grounds. The setting is not incidental. It's part of the facilitation. When you slow down enough to hear yourself think, the work changes.
Why I Said Yes to This
I've worked with Aaron Hageman for three years. I watched him take a company from a $1 acquisition to a $2 billion exit to Walmart. I watched him navigate the post-exit identity question — who are you when the company is gone? — with more clarity and intention than most founders ever bring to that transition.
What Aaron built with 75x Strategy is a methodology for strategic growth that comes from 26 years of operator experience. It's not theory. It's not a framework someone designed in a consulting firm. It's the distilled pattern recognition of someone who has actually done the work at scale.
When you put that in a room with what I do — narrative strategy, brand architecture, personal positioning, the inner game of leadership — you get something that doesn't exist anywhere else. That's the room we're building in France.
What the Five Days Look Like
The retreat runs August 15 through 20, 2026. Here's the shape of the work:
- Day 1: Arrival and orientation. Welcome reception, opening dinner, intention setting, evening walk through the wooded park.
- Day 2: Personal reset. Identity, pressure, and responsibility. Guided reflection on who you've been being as a leader. 1:1 advisory sessions with Aaron and me.
- Day 3: Strategic reset. Business clarity sessions — your operating thesis for the next 12 months. Live strategy sessions with Aaron and me. Identify what to release, redesign, or double down on.
- Day 4: Integration and design. Personal and business alignment mapping. 90-day reset plan creation — concrete, not aspirational. Accountability structure design.
- Day 5: Deep work and final sessions. Live strategy sessions, peer advisory roundtables, private 1:1 time, and closing dinner.
Everything is included — accommodation in a private room at the château, all meals (locally sourced, prepared on-site), full facilitation, retreat materials, the 90-day reset framework, post-retreat integration support for 30 days, and airport transfers from Charles de Gaulle or Paris Orly. The only thing not included is your airfare.
Who This Is For
I want to be direct about this, because the wrong person in the room makes the work worse for everyone.
RESET France is for founders, operators, and leaders who are already doing real work — who have built something meaningful, who are carrying real responsibility, and who are at a genuine inflection point. Not someone looking for inspiration. Someone who needs clarity, accountability, and a peer group that can hold them to the standard they've set for themselves.
It's for the person who has been running hard and knows — somewhere underneath the momentum — that they need to stop and think. That the next level requires a different version of them, not just more effort from the current one.
You don't need more information. You need a reset. And you need to do it somewhere that makes the reset feel real.
The Investment
The Founding Member rate is $8,000 — a $2,000 savings off the full price of $10,000. This rate is available for a limited time and closes when it closes. Payment plans are available. Acceptance is by application only.
For context: a single day of my advisory time costs more than this. A single day of Aaron's strategic work costs more than this. Five days of both of us, in a room with a small group of peers, in one of the most beautiful settings in France — the math is obvious.
Why I'm Telling You This
I don't write promotional content. If you've read anything I've published, you know that. I write about the work — what I've learned, what I've seen, what I believe is true about strategy and leadership.
I'm writing about RESET France because I'm personally showing up to co-facilitate it, and I want the right people in the room. Not the most people. The right people. People who are ready to do real work in a real setting with real accountability.
If that's you — if you read this and felt something shift — I'd encourage you to apply. We'll follow up within 48 hours to talk about fit and availability.
